Nooooo! Abercrombie should have won by a country mile with 'The Heroes'. Clearly the better book imo but alas not as popular.
Morningstar Award (best debut): Helen Lowe - 'Heir of Night'
Blah! Seriously can't even be compared to Mark Lawrence's 'Prince of Thorns'. Then there is the fact this wasn't Lowe's first book. Fantasy début book mb but not first published book.
Ravenheart Award (best cover art): Raymond Swanland - 'Blood of Aenarion'
Meh, no complaints here. Not the one I voted for but still good.
