Most forums seem to have a thread like this, so I thought I'd kick one off here and hopefully stimulate a bit of activity.
I seem to be averaging about a book and a half a week at present. My recent review indicates that my last completed read was the steampunk romp Phoenix Rising, the first book in the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences series by Pip Ballantine & Tee Morris. I'm currently reading Vamparazzi, which is the 4th Esther Diamond story by Laura Resnick. It's sort of PR meets UF, with a bit of amateur sleuthing thrown in for good measure. They're a lot of fun and Vamparazzi is living up to it's predecessors on that count. So what else are people reading at present?

OMG a Forum topic I didn't start!

Well thanks to Seak I've been reading Karen Traviss's "Gears of War" books. Just finished the last currently published one and now have to wait till next year to get the conclusion. That or buy an xbox so I can play the games. Bloody Seak!

Not sure what I'm going to read next. Been thinking about rereading "Monument" by Ian Graham. I read it yonks ago and didn't really think much of it but with the recent popularity of books with scum bag main characters, I thought I'd see how it compares.

Will save me money anyway.

It's okay Chris. I've given Seak a few recommendations over the past year or two on my blog, so think of it as some small measure of revenge. If it's ok with you I may occasionally start a topic here and see if we can get some interest stirred up. I still have fond memories or your Wot V Brent Weeks Night Angel thread at SFFWorld.

Polished off Vamparazzi, it was a fun read, very much disposable fiction, but I still liked it. The Esther Diamond's have become a bit of a guilty pleasure since I discovered them last year. I'm now reading the first of Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate books; Soulless, and throughly enjoying it in all it's steampunk silliness.

Finished The Magicians by Lev Grossman, and placed my review in the review section of the site. I've now moved on to the 2nd of Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate books; Changeless, and having quite a bit of fun with that. Depending on what the postman brings (I have Snuff on order from o/s), and whether I can get to it before my wife I may be either reading Terry Pratchett's newest or Ready Player One by Ernest Cline next.

I've given up on Monument, twas as bad as I remembered. Moving onto giving Michael J. Sullivan's Riyria Revelations series another chance. Read a sample of the first book awhile ago and dismissed it as crap. Thought I'd give it another shot given it's not costing me anything.

I'll be interested to see what you think of the Riyria Revelations. I've heard a bit about it, and it sounds promising, but I would like to see other people's impressions.

I finished Ernest Cline's love letter to the 1980's; Ready Player One, over the weekend. What a great book that was! Definitely one of my top five for 2011. It hasn't knocked Cat Valente's The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland In A Ship Of Her Own Making out of top spot, but it came damn close. If you have any affection for the 1980's this is a MUST read. I hope to get a review up here over the next day or two.
