So it was billed as the most anticipated movie this year. Got to love hype.

Twas really disappointed with Prometheus. Not exactly sure what I was expecting but what I got was borderline boring and really badly explained. I saw it in 2D so maybe it the visuals in 3D were mind blowing enough(like Avatar) to cover up a pretty basic story. I'd really like to know how the captain made the huge logic leap of deciding that the site was a weapons factory.

Good thing I saw it on cheap tuesday.

I did not want to hear that, man. I've been really looking forward to this movie.

Heh better to go into it expecting the worst than buying the hype.

There's one scene in there where something really didn't need to be said but was and for the rest of the movie what needed to be explained wasn't. They just jumped to conclusions without explaining how they got there. Messy.

On the bright side it does have a really creepy robot dude .

I was neither disappointed or particularly impressed. It was an average SF movie. The acting, especially from Fassbender, was fairly good and the effects were impressive, but it didn't really captivate me. Not an Alien prequel my arse!

Did you see it in 3D? It looked like there would have been a few bits worth seeing in 3D.

Saw it in 2D. I'm rarely impressed by 3D films. The last film I saw that I would actually urge anyone to go see in 3D to get the full experience was Hugo. I don't think I missed anything by not seeing it in 3D.
